What are credits and how do they work?
Think of credits as your in-app currency you can spend across our newly released features like , , & more features to come in the future. For instance, you can enrich a list of GitHub IDs or emails to get developer contacts using credits.
Why credit-based pricing?
We’ve launched a bunch of new database features like buyer audience and enrichment - and we want to make it easy for you to try them out. Credits give you more flexibility and control over your budget. You can use credit-based features as and when you need it, and pay for usage based on what you use. To get you started, we’re giving out free credits so you can explore these features at your own pace.
What features consume credits?
Credits allow you to use certain database features and fetch specific data from Reo.Dev that go beyond developer activity signals. Credits are currently used for:
Fetch buyer and developer contacts from an individual account
Build buyer audience for accounts in a segment (Only available to users with ‘ADMIN’ role)
Enrichment - Enrich developers with Github and email (Only available to users with ‘ADMIN’ role)
Can credits be shared across my team or account?
Credits are assigned to an overall company account and not for an individual user. For instance - if you have 5000 credits it means these 5000 credits are pooled across all users across your company.
Will existing features get affected by credit-based pricing too?
No. Credits do not have any impact on usage of your features, add-ons, or terms of your current subscription agreement.
Are credits refundable if I stop using the product?
Credits once purchased cannot be refunded. However, credits do not expire so you can use them whenever you may need them in the future.
How do credits affect my current subscription agreement?
Credits DON’T affect your current subscription agreement. Credits are added and charged separately from your current subscription agreement. To help you get started right away - we have added some free credits to your account. Any Subsequent additions of credits to your account are chargeable. Please contact your account manager to talk about credit plans available to you.
Are there any limits to how many credits I can buy or use?
There is no limit.
Do credits expire?
No - credits don’t expire. You can use purchased and free credits at any time in the future.
How do I get help if I have issues with credits?
For any issues with credits - feel free to reach out to your account manager or just drop us an email at

How many credits does each action cost/How are credits consumed?
The number of credits consumed depends on:
The feature (e.g., buyer audience vs enrichment)
The depth of data (e.g. Github to LinkedIn = 5 credits per ID; Github to business emails = 1 credit per ID. As an example - let’s say you’ve uploaded a file of 1000 Github IDs. If we get LI of 900 records and business email of 925 records - then the total credits consumed would be - 4,500 + 925 = 5,425.

What are 'maximum credits' and how are they calculated?
Maximum credits are the maximum number of credits that could be consumed for a particular action assuming both LinkedIn and email IDs are fetched.
For enrichment - The maximum credits are calculated based on the number of records (Github/Email IDs) on your uploaded file. For instance if you've uploaded 100 records - the maximum credits (assuming both LI and email IDs are fetched for those records) consumed would be 100*6 (for LinkedIn ID and business email ID) = 600 credits.
For buyer audience - The maximum credits are calculated based on the number of accounts in the chosen segment/list and the maximum number of buyers you want to find. For eg - If the segment has 100 accounts, and you've set the maximum number of buyers to 10 - then the maximum number of credits consumed (assuming both LI and email IDs are fetched) the maximum credits would be - 10*100*2 = 2000 credits.
Can we estimate how many credits a particular task will consume before running that task?
Yes. Before running a task - you can see the maximum credits required for that action. For instance - if you’re running enrichment on a file with 100 records- once you upload a file - you can see the maximum credits that will be consumed for enrichment (assuming both LinkedIn and business email IDs are fetched for all records). However, the actual consumption would depend on how many records are enriched. You can check the Credits Usage section for actual usage.
What happens if I exhaust/exceed my credit limit?
You'll receive notifications at 80%, 95% and 100% of your credit usage. These notifications will appear both in the platform and via email. Once you reach your credit limit - you'll no longer be able to use features that require credits. You'll need to purchase additional credits to continue using these feature.
What happens if I run out of credits mid-task?
If your credits get exhausted during a process like enrichment, the process will continue to completion and all records in your file will be updated.
However, from the moment your credits are exhausted, any new enriched records will contain redacted LinkedIn profiles and email addresses, and you won’t be able to send this data to your CRM or other GTM tools. You'll be able to access this information once you purchase additional credits.
Will deleting enriched data restore my credits?
No. Enriched data cannot be deleted. And once credits are consumed, they cannot be recovered.
Where can I track my credit usage?
You can track your credit usage in the billing & credits tab under user management. Here you can see the total credits allocated and the total credits used. You’ll also get a breakdown of credit usage by feature. Note: Credit usage and tracking are both currently only available to users with "Admin" privileges.
Can I set credit usage limits for a particular feature or user?
We don’t support setting feature and user-level credit limits. You can track your credit usage in the billing & credits tab under user management. You can see the total credits allocated and the total credits used. You’ll also get a breakdown of credit usage by feature.
