# Gong Flows

Reo.Dev’s Gong integration allows GTM teams to automate and personalize their outreach to developers and buyers from Gong flows - directly within Reo.Dev. This guide gives you a step-by-step breakdown of how to set up the Gong Integration on Reo.Dev.

***

#### **What This Integration Enables**

1. **Add buyers or developers directly from the Accounts → More Prospects tab + Active Developers tab** to Gong flows
2. **Use the Buyer or Developers section to discover relevant profiles** and add them to Gong Flows
3. Add **individual developers and buyers** to the Gong flow directly from their profiles
4. **Run automated campaigns for buyer and developer segments** by syncing them to Gong Flows

***

#### Pre-requisites:

1. You must have an ‘ADMIN’ role in [Reo.Dev](http://Reo.Dev)
2. You must have a CRM integration ( Hubspot/Salesforce/Attio) and must be logged in with your CRM admin account

**A few key things to note:**

1. Gong works on CRM first architecture. Which means - only those contacts that are synced to CRM can be sent to Gong Flows.
 1. If a non-crm synced developer/buyer is selected - you can choose the option to send contact to CRM first and then it will be synced to Gong
 2. The contacts which can’t be synced to CRM, can’t be sent to Gong
2. Sender’s Email ID is mandatory to list the available flows
3. **Archived Gong Flows** won’t show up or trigger any actions in Reo.Dev. To use them again, just unarchive/activate the Flows.
4. **Sync Delay Notice** After being pushed from Reo. Dev, profiles may take up to 10–15 minutes to appear in the selected Gong Flows. Campaigns can take upto 24 hours
 {% endhint %}

### Integration Setup: Connecting Reo.Dev to Gong Flows

**Step 1:** Go to Integrations > Locate the Gong card under Messaging Tools > Click on connect

* Log in to your Gong account at [app.gong.io](http://app.gong.io)
* Go to **Admin Center** **→ Ecosystem → API**
* On the API page, click **Get API Key** (if no key exists yet, this will generate one)
* Copy your **Access Key** and **Access Key Secret** — store these somewhere safe, as the secret won't be shown again

Paste the access key and secret key in Reo.Dev.

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: If a contact is not in your CRM, Reo will prompt you to sync the contact to CRM first. Check the ‘Sync the unsynced buyer to my CRM and add them to the flow’ box. Once done, Reo creates a record in your CRM and then sends it to Gong. This may take up to 24 hours.

{% hint style="info" %}
Only the contacts which are already synced to CRM will be added to the flows. It might take upto 24 hours for contacts to get added to the flow.

If you want all contacts in a Segment or Audience to flow into Gong, we highly recommend syncing that Segment or Audience to your CRM first. Once synced, all eligible contacts become available for Gong Flow.
{% endhint %}
