Things to know about importing from CRM
Here are some of the most commonly asked questions while importing your lists and segments from CRM into Reo
1. Why can't I find my list to import?
Import from CRM currently supports account (company) lists only. Lists built around other CRM objects, like deals, contacts, workspaces, or any object type other than accounts, won't show up here.
2. What if my CRM list has more than 10,000 accounts?
Import from CRM supports lists of up to 10,000 accounts, a limit in place to keep imports fast and reliable. If your list is larger than that, use Upload a file instead.
3. Is there a cap on how many CRM lists I can import in total?
No. There's no cap on the total number of lists you can import, separate from the 10,000-account limit per list. The only real constraint is your credit balance: as long as you have enough credits to cover enrichment, you can import as many lists as you need.
4. How are credits used during import?
Reo charges 3 credits for every account that needs enrichment. Accounts already in your Reo workspace don't cost anything to bring in, since they're already enriched.
For example: 100 accounts needing enrichment costs 300 credits. If 40 of those 100 accounts are already in Reo and only 60 need enrichment, that costs 180 credits, not 300.
In short, credits are only ever spent enriching an account Reo doesn't already have.
5. If the same account appears in more than one CRM list I import, am I charged credits every time?
No, only once. Enrichment happens at the workspace level, not the list level. Once an account has been enriched anywhere in your Reo workspace, importing it into another list doesn't cost you credits again.
6. What happens if enrichment fails for a specific account?
You're not charged for it. The account still appears in your list with its company domain visible, but it won't be enriched, and since there's no enriched record behind it, it won't be clickable either.
7. What does "Keep in sync with CRM" actually do?
With sync turned on, your Reo list stays aligned with its source CRM list automatically. Accounts added to the CRM list get added to the Reo list, and accounts removed from the CRM list get removed from the Reo list too, so the two generally track each other over time.
If the counts still don't match exactly, the most common reason is duplicates: Reo deduplicates accounts automatically, so several duplicate rows in your CRM list may collapse into a single account in Reo.
8. If I choose "Import only accounts already in Reo," does sync still work?
Yes, but with a narrower scope. Sync keeps working only for accounts already in your Reo workspace: if one of those accounts changes in your CRM list, Reo reflects it. A brand new account added to the CRM list that isn't already in Reo won't be enriched or added, since you've chosen not to spend credits enriching new accounts for this list.
9. If I turn sync off and then turn it back on later, will Reo catch up on everything that changed while it was off?
Yes. When you turn sync back on, Reo compares the current state of your CRM list against your Reo list and reconciles the difference, so accounts added or removed while sync was off are picked up in that catch-up, not just changes going forward.
10. If the CRM list itself is deleted or renamed in the CRM, what happens to the synced Reo list?
Renaming has no effect. Reo maps to your CRM list by its ID, not its name, so the connection holds even if the list gets a new name later.
Deleting it depends on whether sync is on. If Keep Reo list in sync with CRM list is enabled, Reo removes the list's records at the next sync cycle to match. If sync is disabled, deleting the CRM list has no effect on Reo at all, since the list is already a static snapshot.
11. Can I edit or delete a list I imported from my CRM?
Not directly. Once a list is imported, Reo keeps it as a fixed record of the enrichment that's already been paid for, so it can't be accidentally edited or deleted along with the credits spent on it. If you need a different set of accounts, create a new list instead, and if some of those accounts have already been enriched elsewhere in your workspace, you won't be charged again for them: only newly enriched accounts cost credits.
12. Can I manually add or remove individual accounts from a CRM-synced list?
No. Since the list is tied to your CRM, your CRM stays the source of truth for who's on it, and manual additions or removals aren't supported directly. If you need that flexibility, clone the list first. A cloned list is independent of the CRM and can be edited freely.
