Developer Audience
This section explains how you can leverage the developer audience feature to find developers based on specific skillsets, job title, and location within your target account lists or company audience.
Note: Only users with 'Admin' role on Reo.Dev can create and access audiences.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to building a developer audience:
Creating a Developer Audience:
Step 1: Navigate to the ‘Audiences’ section from the left panel

Step 2: Click on the Developers tab

Step 3: Next, click on ‘Create Audience’

Step 4: Start by adding the ‘Developer details’
Skills - Search for the specific skill sets that fit your ideal developer persona

Job Title - Add a specific designation or job function

Locations - Specify the location(s) where you want to find developers from

Step 5: Next, choose the ‘Company’ - which is basically specifying companies you want to find developers in. These could be from a:
Account Segments: You can find developers with specific skillsets from any of your existing account segments in Reo.
Account Lists: If you have a target account list - you can upload that on Reo.Dev and then find developers within those target companies.
Company Audiences - You can further find developer from accounts within a company audience.
Firmographics - You can also choose to just find developers from companies based on specific firmographic filters (company industry, company HQ location, revenue, size)

Step 6: Now, click on Preview to view developers matching the defined criteria

Note: This is a limited preview showing 25 developers from all the developer profiles fetched for the set criteria.
To access the full audience click on ‘Continue to Save’

Step 7: Define the Audience Name

Step 8: Define max developers per company: Here you can select the maximum number of developers you want to add from each company. You can choose upto 20 developers per company.

Step 9: Select Contact Ids to fetch. You can choose to fetch only the LI IDs, only business email ID or choose to fetch LinkedIn and business email IDs both.

The credit summary shows you the number of credits that will be consumed for building this audience.
The number of credits consumed for fetching only LI Ids for each developer = 1 credit
The number of credits consumed for fetching LI and business email ID for each developer = 2 credits
Step 10: Once you’ve set this - click on Save Audience.
It can take upto 24 hours to populate the audience. New developers matching the defined criteria will be added automatically when new companies are added to the source account list, segment, or audience.

Managing Developer Audience
Once your developer audience is created, you can manage it from the Developers tab:
Audience name
Total count - Total number of developers in an audience
Status
In-progress - This indicates audience is still being created.
Complete - This indicates audience is completed. You can view the developers for these audiences.
Complete (restricted) - This indicates that the developer audience is complete but some developers are hidden due to low credits. You can use the actions menu to view them.
Auto-refresh status: This is turned on by default for all developer audiences. So it auto-adds developers matching the defined criteria from any new account added to your segment/list/audience. If you disable this, any new developers identified in the account segments/list/audiences will not be added for that particular developer audience.
Last refreshed at: This shows the most recent date and time when new contacts were added to an audience.
Actioning on Developer Audience
Once you've created a developer audience there's a range of actions you can take to manage and act on the data. Here's a quick overview of those actions:
View Developers - View all developer details like - name, designation, skills, matched skills, company, developer location, and contact IDs (LI, email, stackoverflow, Github ID etc)
Download CSV of developer audience to export this data
Create campaign - Enrol developers in your existing email sequences
Sync to CRM - Sync developer audience to your CRM directly. This enables you to filter and view the contacts from a specific audience in your CRM itself.
Clone Audience - Clone an existing audience
